The purpose of this Standard and its
information collection requirements is to provide protection for
workers from adverse health effects associated with occupational
exposure to Methylenedianiline in General Industry. Employers must
monitor worker exposures within the permissible exposure limits,
provide workers with medical examinations and training, and
establish and maintain worker exposure-monitoring and medical
records.

The agency is requesting to
maintain the 317 burden hours previously approved for this
information collections request. However, OSHA is requesting an
increase of $1,560 cost going from $24,180 to $25,740 in capital
costs. This increase is due to the cost per medical examinations
going from $207 to $219 per exam.
