The FBI is requesting a change request to revise questions to align with E.O. 14168 Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government. This change is to an existing collection which enables Criminal Justice Agencies to initiate NICS background checks of prospective firearms transferees to ensure those transferee are not prohibited from possessing firearms.
