We are writing to invite you to participate in a one‐hour virtual group discussion focused on integrated 
primary prevention (IPP) at the tactical and operational levels at complex military settings. You were selected 
because of your experience at a complex military setting—which we define as a military setting with unique 
structural or systematic characteristics that may help or hinder IPP (e.g., joint base, rural or isolated setting). 
This group discussion will help identify barriers and enablers to IPP at these complex settings and to prioritize 
areas where future guidance or resources are needed ensure IPP is a success. This effort is funded by DoD 
SAPRO and being conducted by researchers from RAND’s National Defense Research Institute, a nonprofit 
and nonpartisan policy and research organization.

participate in these virtual group discussions. You were nominated by [INSERT NAME].   
Participation is voluntary. We hope you will be interested in participating and contributing your valuable

Assault Prevention and Response Office to inform their future prevention planning. We will not report your
