Dear Sir or Madam:
This email message and the attached file constitute EPA's transmission of a Data Call-In (DCI) Notice
[GDCI-PCCODE#-CASE#] to you. The DCI Notice requires you, a registrant of pesticide products
containing the active ingredient [Ingredient Name] (PC code ######), to take certain steps and submit
certain data to the EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs within the time frames provided in the DCI to
maintain the continued registration of your product(s) containing the active ingredient. The options for
responding to this Notice are: (1) voluntary cancellation, (2) delete use(s), (3) claim generic data
exemption, (4) agree to satisfy the data requirements imposed by this Notice, (5) request a data
waiver(s), or (6) other EDSP-related response options.
The attached file contains the DCI Notice and its cover letter, attachments, and instructions concerning
the active ingredient. Please open and read the attached file. You are required to acknowledge receipt
of this transmission within the next five business days by e-mail as further described in this message.
Additionally, you must provide a response to the DCI and its data requirements within 90 days. Specific
deadlines for submission of reports and data are set forth in the DCI.
When submitting data for this DCI via CDX (https://dev.epacdx.net/CDX/MyCDX) please submit as a
voluntary submission through the portal. Due to the current state of EPA’s data management system
new DCIs are not being recognized within the portal and, as a result, the only viable way to submit data
for recent DCIs will be to submit via voluntary submission. EPA is currently working on updating our
systems and a new DCI submission process but is using this method as a workaround solution until a
new system is in place. Please notify the Agency’s Chemical Review Manager (CRM) when you submit
the data via CDX for this DCI.
A copy of the DCI will be placed in the Registration Review docket for the active ingredient at
www.regulations.gov. If you have any questions about the DCI or cannot open the attachments, please
contact the Chemical Review Manager at [CRM email address]

This collection of information is approved by OMB under the Paperwork Reduction Act, 44 U.S.C. 3501
et seq. (OMB Control No. 2070-0174). Responses to this collection of information are mandatory for
certain persons, as specified at 40 CFR 158. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not
required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control
number. The public reporting and recordkeeping burden for this collection of information is estimated
to be between 20 to 8,182 hours per response. Send comments on the Agency’s need for this
information, the accuracy of the provided burden estimates and any suggested methods for minimizing
respondent burden to the Information Engagement Division Director, U.S. Environmental Protection
